Over the past weekend crowds came out enjoy the Northwest Raspberry Festival in Lynden Washington. The festival included activities such as face painting, live music, vendors, Razz and Shine classic auto show, Raspberry Festival 5k Run, and for the 3rd year teams came out to compete in the Curt Maberry Memorial Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Oh yes, I shouldn’t forget to mention the ice cream topped with delicious raspberries.
Congratulations to this years Curt Maberry Scholarship recipients, Brett Bajema and LaMont Gavette. We would like to thank all of the other outstanding applicants and hope you have an amazing future.
