Thanks to the hard work of some dedicated team members…we won the local Christmas parade best float entry this year. Competition was tough, but Santa and his tractor reindeers came through.
Over the past weekend crowds came out enjoy the Northwest Raspberry Festival in Lynden Washington. The festival included activities such as face painting, live music, vendors, Razz and Shine classic auto show, Raspberry Festival 5k Run, and for the 3rd year teams came out to compete in the Curt Maberry Memorial Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Oh yes, I shouldn’t forget to mention the ice cream topped with delicious raspberries.
Long time employee Thelma Terpstra passed away May 14, 2010 at the age of 88. Known as the “Berry Babe”, she will be greatly missed.
